Scott Heckert No. 34 Bully Hill Vineyards Chevrolet Preview: Watkins Glen International

From Hscott Motorsports with Justin Marks PR –

Watkins Glen International…The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East (NKNPSE) heads to Watkins Glen International this weekend for the Bully Hill 125. This weekend’s race marks the first of two road course events in 2015 for the NKNPSE.

No. 34 Scott Heckert…Heckert comes into Watkins Glen looking to continue to close the gap in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings. The 21-year-old picked up his first career NKNPSE victory one year ago in this event in just his second start at the track. The Connecticut native followed that up by winning at Virginia International Raceway to sweep the NKNPSE road course events in 2014. Heckert hopes for more of the same coming off a solid top-five finish one week ago at Iowa. Heckert enters this weekend’s race at Watkins Glen sitting second in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.

Scott Heckert on heading back to Watkins Glen this weekend:

“It’s been a while since we’ve been on a road course. Even though it’s been a year since I’ve been in one of these cars on a road course, I’m definitely feeling confident heading into Watkins Glen. I’m happy to have Bully Hill Vineyards come on board for this weekend and hopefully we can get them another trip to victory lane.”

The Bully Hill 125 at Watkins Glen International begins at 6:15 p.m. EDT on Friday, August 7. The race can be seen on NBCSN on Thursday, August 13 at 2:30 p.m. EDT.
