Start: 8th // Finish: 25th

Heckert came into the race at Greenville-Pickens looking to build upon the strongest start of his career in the NKNPSE. The Connecticut native got started on the right foot, qualifying the No. 34 Project Lifesaver Chevrolet in the eighth position. Heckert was able to move his Chevy up into the top five for the race’s opening 30 laps. The 21-year-old looked poised to run inside the top five and contend for the victory, until Heckert was collected by another competitor in Turn 1 on lap 47, causing heavy damage to the No. 34 and ultimately ending Heckert’s day early. The result was a 25th-place finish, which moved Heckert to 13th in the NKNPSE Driver Point Standings.
Scott Heckert on his run at Greenville:
“We had a really fast Project Lifesaver Chevrolet this weekend at Greenville. I can’t begin to state how proud I am of everyone on this No. 34 HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks team. The guys worked so hard to help give me a fast racecar at a track I’ve previously struggled at, and this was definitely the fastest car I’ve had here to date. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to showcase that speed at the end, but this team is moving in the right direction and I’m already looking forward to getting back on track at Bristol.”
